Sea Scouts is a Co-ed program associated with Boy Scouts of America for youth ages 14 to 21. Advisors have US Sailing certification and boatbuilding expertise. The Belfast Sea Scout group owns a fleet of 2 sailing dinghies, 5 lazers, a 20 foot sailboat. Boatbuilding and maintenance, sailing on larger boats, gig rowing, and field trips to merchant marine facilities in the area are all possible depending on interest.
