Youth Sailing Instruction

Children's beginner sailing in Belfast Harbor is available to children 7-13 years old from June 30 – August 20.

Weekly sessions with classes on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9am to Noon. Pre-registration is required.

Cost:
$50 / week for members
$60 / week for non-members

~Taught by US Sailing certified instructor
~Children must be able to swim.

Children’s advanced lessons are also available. Ask for details. See below for registration information

Junior Sailors must bring to the program each day:

• PFD (lifejacket).
• Whistle. Please attach to PFD.
• Water bottle with water inside.
• Bathing suit and an extra set of dry clothes.
• Towel.
• Hat or visor, and sunglasses.
• Sun Block. We recommend 30 or higher.
• Appropriate clothing for all weather conditions.
• Footwear: closed toe shoes

1. Respect yourself, your coaches, your peers, and all Come Boating! members.

2. Junior Sailors must wear proper footwear at all times.

3. PFD's with attached whistles must be properly worn on the ramp, docks, and in the boats.

4. Junior Sailors will not use foul language at any time.

• Under 18 Participation agreement

Adult Sailing Instruction

Come Boating! offers individual and group sailing instruction for adults. The number and focus of the lessons are tailored to the individual and their particular needs. Topics can cover everything from knots to navigation and rowing to racing. You can learn on one of Come Boating!'s boats or on your own.

All instructors are certified by US Sailing.

Lessons begin in June and last through September. Lessons fee is $65 for members and $75 for non-members.

Regatta
