• 11th Annual REGATTA
  Saturday, August 20, 2011
  Rowing races for gigs and small craft; Registration for the rowing regatta will be held at 9 a.m. at Come Boating!'s tent which will be set up near the Boat House at Steamboat Public Landing. The long-course races will begin at 11 a.m. Registration fees are $20 for adults and $5 for juniors (ages 13 to 18.), and include a fabulous potluck meal donated by Come Boating! members,

  Sailboat races, including Maine Laser Championships competition.

  Regatta is part of Belfast’s Harbor Fest, a celebration of boats and Belfast’s marine heritage. Waterfront activities will include the National Boatbuilding Challenge, maritime exhibits, demonstrations and speakers, a blueberry pancake breakfast, children's nautical activities, live music, and delicious food!

• COMMUNITY ROWING
  June-September
  Free morning and late afternoon rows throughout the week open to the public

• YOUTH ROWING
  Summer and Fall
  Weekly gig rowing and instruction with trained coxswain for youth ages 8 and up.

• COMMUNITY SAILING
  July and August
  Free skippered sails on a Drascomb Lugger for up to four people, offered several days a week
